Many Franschhoek weddings are full destination weekends, with guests arriving from around South Africa or overseas. A well-planned beauty schedule gives you space to enjoy that experience. At your trial, Kay-Lee works through your references, tests the balance of colour and texture, and checks that your hairstyle supports your veil or accessories. Professional products are chosen to remain comfortable through warm valley afternoons, photographs and a long reception.
Your wedding-day timing is then built around when you need to dress, meet your photographer and leave for the ceremony. Kay-Lee prepares at your hotel, suite, villa or venue and brings a calm, focused presence to the room. Bridesmaids and family members may book services too. For larger groups or time constraints, assistants can be arranged so everyone is ready on time. If the group is large, access time is limited or everyone must be finished early, additional trusted artists can be scheduled. I honestly cannot recommend kay-Lee enough. From the moment she arrived on the morning of my wedding, she brought such a calm, comforting energy that completely put me at ease during what could have been a very overwhelming morning. I was so relaxed in her chair that I genuinely almost fell asleep! Not only is she unbelievably talented - my makeup was the best it has ever looked - but she also handled everything with such grace and professionalism. We even had a few extra people unexpectedly wanting makeup done on the day, and she didn’t stress or make it an issue for a second. She accommodated everyone so calmly and kindly. She also organised the hair artist for us, and the two of them worked together like an absolute dream team. Everything ran so smoothly, they arrived early, and somehow we even finished early, which any bride knows is almost unheard of on a wedding day - especially with extra people added in! She truly was one of the highlights of my wedding day. She looked after me so beautifully from start to finish, and I am beyond grateful that she was part of such a special day. If you are looking for someone incredibly talented, organised, calming, professional, and genuinely lovely to have around on your wedding morning, she is the one.

Yes. Bridal hair and makeup is available at hotels, private villas, wine estates and wedding venues across the Franschhoek Valley. Travel and any early-start requirements are included clearly in your personalised quotation.
Are you capable of handling a big bridal party?
Yes. Hair and makeup can be arranged for your bridal party. For larger groups or time constraints, assistants can be arranged so everyone receives attentive service and is ready on time.
