How does the trial session work?

During your trial, we will:

- Experiment with Different Looks: Based on our discussion, we’ll work together to create and refine your desired hair and make-up styles. We can try out different techniques, products, and placements to find what you love the most and what best complements your features.
- Test the Longevity of the Look: We’ll ensure the chosen styles are comfortable and long-lasting, giving you peace of mind for your wedding day.
- Fine-Tune Every Detail: From the perfect shade of lipstick to the placement of each curl, we’ll pay close attention to every detail to ensure your complete satisfaction.
- Capture the Look: We’ll take photos of the final hair and make-up so we have a clear reference for your wedding day.
Where does the magic happen?
Trials are typically held in my studio in the beautiful Bloubergstrand. This provides a comfortable and professional setting with all the necessary tools and products at our fingertips.
For your convenience:
I understand that traveling can sometimes be challenging. Therefore, I also offer the option to travel to your preferred location for the trial, subject to a travel fee which will be discussed and agreed upon beforehand.
Included in Most Packages:
I believe the trial is a crucial step in the bridal beauty journey, which is why it is included in most of my wedding packages (For the bride only). This allows us the dedicated time to perfect your look and build a trusting relationship before your special day.
By the end of your trial, you will leave feeling excited and secure, knowing exactly how stunning you will look and feel as you walk down the aisle. It’s an invaluable opportunity to ensure everything is perfect, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy every moment of your wedding day.
Do you travel and what is the costs?
I am delighted to bring my bridal hair and make-up artistry directly to your wedding location. To ensure a seamless and stress-free experience for you, here’s how traveling for your event works:
Events Within the Western Cape:
For wedding locations within the Western Cape, a travel fee applies. Kay-Lee calculates this based on the distance traveled from my base in Bloubergstrand to your event location. This ensures fair compensation for travel time and expenses. The specific fee will be discussed and clearly outlined in your personalized quote.
Events Requiring Overnight Accommodation (More Than 200km from Bloubergstrand):
If your wedding venue is located more than 200 kilometers from Bloubergstrand, it will necessitate an overnight stay for myself and any necessary assistants. In such cases, the cost of one night’s accommodation will be included in your quote to ensure we are well-rested and prepared to provide you with the best possible service on your wedding day.
Events Outside of the Western Cape:
For weddings taking place outside of the Western Cape province, the logistics involve additional travel arrangements. In these instances, the costs for flights, transportation to and from airports and the venue, and accommodation for myself and any required assistants will be quoted separately. We will work with you to find the most efficient and cost-effective travel options while ensuring a smooth and timely arrival for your special day.
Please provide the location of your wedding venue when you inquire about services, and I will be happy to provide you with a clear and comprehensive quote that includes any applicable travel fees. My priority is to be there for you, wherever your beautiful celebration may be!
