Kay-Lee creates matric dance makeup Bloubergstrand with care — Perhaps you want brushed-out waves and luminous skin; perhaps a sleek updo and defined eyes feel more like your style. Kay-Lee considers your dress, features, hair texture and usual comfort with makeup before shaping a complete look. The aim is confidence when you see yourself in the mirror, not a version of somebody else’s inspiration photo.
Bloubergstrand’s open light is wonderful for photographs, while coastal air can ask more of a hairstyle. Kay-Lee prepares and finishes the hair with the planned shape in mind, and builds makeup in considered layers so it remains polished without feeling mask-like. Products are selected for the person and the finish required, rather than because one brand is expected to suit every skin type or look.
A Clear Plan Before the Photos Begin
Matric dance afternoons can move quickly. Kay-Lee works back from your ready-by time and confirms the services, number of people and location details in advance. Kay-Lee offers mobile service by arrangement, and larger friend groups may require additional qualified artists. That planning gives parents a realistic schedule and gives students space to enjoy the appointment.
An optional trial is useful when you are deciding between hairstyles, testing how a makeup finish feels, or simply want fewer unknowns on the day. It is a collaborative appointment: feedback is welcome, adjustments are normal and you will not be persuaded into heavier makeup than you want.

I honestly cannot recommend kay-Lee enough. From the moment she arrived on the morning of my wedding, she brought such a calm, comforting energy that completely put me at ease during what could have been a very overwhelming morning. I was so relaxed in her chair that I genuinely almost fell asleep! She also organised the hair artist for us, and the two of them worked together like an absolute dream team. Everything ran so smoothly, they arrived early, and somehow we even finished early, which any bride knows is almost unheard of on a wedding day - especially with extra people added in! She truly was one of the highlights of my wedding day. She looked after me so beautifully from start to finish, and I am beyond grateful that she was part of such a special day.
