This was the most special day for both my son and my daughter. It was Andrew's Milnerton HS Matric Dance and he chose to take his special needs sister along for the ride as in his words, she will never get to experience this in her life. It is best to enquire as soon as your school confirms the date. Several Cape Town schools can hold their dances within the same few weeks, so popular afternoon time slots fill quickly. Send your date, area, services required and ready-by time when enquiring so Kay-Lee can confirm whether the booking can be accommodated.
What should I bring to my matric hair and makeup trial?
Bring photographs of your dress, accessories and any hair or makeup ideas you like. It is equally helpful to show Kay-Lee what you do not like. During the 1.5 to 2-hour trial, you can refine the colours, makeup finish and hairstyle until the complete look feels comfortable and works with your outfit. Trial arrangements are confirmed when you enquire.
Can Kay-Lee do hair and makeup for a group of Cape Town friends?
Yes. Group bookings can be planned for friends attending the same dance. Kay-Lee will work backwards from your ready-by time and, where the group is too large for one artist, arrange additional qualified hair and makeup professionals. Providing accurate numbers from the start helps create a realistic schedule and an accurate quote.
