Kay-Lee creates matric dance makeup Strand with care — Kay-Lee shapes hair and makeup around your features, dress and how active the night will be, whether that means soft glam with movement, a classic polished finish or something more defined for formal photos.
Farewells at Strand High School, Hottentots-Holland High School and other Helderberg schools often fall on the same weekends, adding to the excitement across neighbouring towns. Kay-Lee welcomes matrics from across Strand and the wider Helderberg, planning each appointment from the ready-by time given at enquiry.
Mentored by Cecilia Fourie and fully qualified for matric dance hair and makeup, Kay-Lee works with premium brands including Bobbi Brown, MAC, Estée Lauder, Benefit, NARS, Fenty, Chanel and Kylie Cosmetics. The aim is simple: colour that flatters on camera, a finish that suits your skin and comfort that lasts through dinner, dancing and goodbye photos.
Mobile service covers Strand. Optional trials of 1.5 to 2 hours let you test the full combination of hairstyle and makeup before the dance. Friend groups are welcome, and Kay-Lee can arrange extra qualified artists when a larger party needs a tighter timeline.

Can Kay-Lee help if my hair is fine, curly or freshly coloured?
Yes. Share hair type, recent colour or any extensions when you enquire or at your trial. Kay-Lee chooses styling approaches that respect your hair’s condition while still delivering a farewell-ready finish that holds through the evening.
Do Strand bookings ever combine with Somerset West friend groups?
Frequently. Helderberg friend groups often span Strand and Somerset West. Provide the full headcount and the earliest ready-by time so one schedule can be planned, with additional artists arranged if the group is large.
