How Location & Travel Work
Trials are typically held at Kay-Lee’s studio in Bloubergstrand, with all tools, lighting and products on hand. On-location trials and wedding-day services are available across the Western Cape.
- Western Cape venues: A travel fee applies based on distance from Bloubergstrand and is included clearly in your quote.
- More than 200 km from Bloubergstrand: Overnight accommodation may be required and quoted upfront.
- Outside the Western Cape: Flights, transfers and accommodation are quoted separately.

I honestly cannot recommend kay-Lee enough. From the moment she arrived on the morning of my wedding, she brought such a calm, comforting energy that completely put me at ease during what could have been a very overwhelming morning. I was so relaxed in her chair that I genuinely almost fell asleep! Not only is she unbelievably talented - my makeup was the best it has ever looked - but she also handled everything with such grace and professionalism. We even had a few extra people unexpectedly wanting makeup done on the day, and she didn’t stress or make it an issue for a second. She accommodated everyone so calmly and kindly. She also organised the hair artist for us, and the two of them worked together like an absolute dream team. Everything ran so smoothly, they arrived early, and somehow we even finished early, which any bride knows is almost unheard of on a wedding day - especially with extra people added in! Kay-Lee did an amazing job with my hair and make up for my Valentines Beach Wedding ♥️ She understood exactly what I wanted and made it happen! As I live in Ireland we didn't have time for a trial run so we only met on the afternoon of my big day. The wind was horrendous on the day and there was no plan B! This was the most special day for both my son and my daughter. It was Andrew's Milnerton HS Matric Dance and he chose to take his special needs sister along for the ride as in his words, she will never get to experience this in her life. Do you travel to my wedding venue?
Yes. Kay-Lee provides on-location bridal hair and makeup across Cape Town and the Western Cape. Browse the location pages on this hub for your area, then share your venue details on the contact form for a tailored quote.
How are travel costs calculated?
For events within the Western Cape, a travel fee is based on distance from the Bloubergstrand studio. If your venue is more than 200 km away, overnight accommodation may be included in the quote. Weddings outside the Western Cape are quoted separately for flights, transfers and stays.
Where do bridal trials take place?
Most trials are held at the Bloubergstrand studio. On-location trials can be arranged at your preferred place, subject to a travel fee agreed beforehand. A bridal trial is included with most wedding packages for the bride.
What if my town isn’t listed?
If your venue is near one of the areas above, open the closest location page or contact Kay-Lee directly. Coverage extends throughout the Western Cape, and destination weddings further afield can be planned by quote.
Can you do hair and makeup for my whole bridal party at the venue?
Yes. Bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls can be booked alongside the bride. For larger parties or tight timelines, Kay-Lee can arrange additional artists so everyone is ready on schedule.
